Autumn Card

Hi, even though it's only June, I was in the mood to create something with an Autumn feel. The paper is from DCWV Amber Autumn Matstack - Fall Stack Collection. The flower dies are from AliExpress.com, the floral background stamp is Hero Arts Wild Bouquet, I used Spellerbinders Reverse Wonky Rectangles, and hot glued a little raffia to tie it all together.

Asian Summer

I found this beautiful Origami paper at Michael's and teamed it with Sparkle N Sprinkle's Floral Robe 1498-302H stamp from Set 302 Asian-Fan Geisha. Since the colors are bright and the pattern is quite busy, I chose not to add any embellishments. The base colors on the Geisha are done with Copic markers and enhanced with Prismacolor pencils. The Geisha is outlined with Copic N1 Neutral Gray, to give her a 3-D appearance. Gold paint pen was used around the Spellbinder's die cut. White CS size is 11 x 7 inches, first fold is at 5 inches, then fold top back to create a bi-fold card.

As you can see, I have a critter of my own - I adopted Miss Chiff January 2, 2011, she was a "free" kitten being given away in front of our local Walmart. She was barely 8 weeks old.  Now she's 11 months. So, just like any teenager, she sleeps most of the day, and is up half the night (I'm told cats do that anyway- PS this is my first feline). My daughter (she's 22) is my only child, so I love to tease her that she now has a "sister".
