Horseless Carriage
Just thinking about the good ol' days . . .
The car on the left is 1905 Buick Model C 1334-285G, the car on the right is 1914 Chevy Royal Mail Roadster 1335-285E. Both from Sparkle N Sprinkle's Stamp Set 1900 Cars.
The dapper gentleman is Man with hand in jacket 16279 Viva Las Vegastamps plate 1295.
I used Copper embossing powder, all the cardstock is from DCWV The Natural Stack, and 6 copper colored brads.

Bamboo & Fan
Bamboo stamp is from Viva Las Vegastamps. Fan is origami paper purchased at Michael's. After stamping and coloring the bamboo stalk, I went over just the design with a VersaMark pen, clear ep and heat set. Then used a sponge applicator to first apply a bright yellow chalk around the entire design, then a light green chalk only around the stalk and leaves. The card base is gold cs, with a dark green background cs.

Cart of Pansies
For this card, I tried out my new Martha Stewart edge and corner punches, (thank goodness for Michael's 50% off coupons). After coloring, I used the Spellbinder's Deckled Rectangles Large S4-202 to create a sort of puzzle. Distressed around the edges of each piece before putting it back together. Then added orange Stickles to the center of each flower and Diamond Stickles on flower petals. A small dab of Glossy Accents was added to the center of each punched flower. And completed the scene with bee stickers.

Mixed Media Asian Fan Card
If you've been following my blog, you know I'm a huge fan of mixing FREE graphics with rubber stamp art, (one form of mixed media).
To me, this looks like a Mother's Day card, but could probably be used for any occassion. The fan was heat set in gold ep and then colored with Smooch inks. The bookmark tassle is attached with fabric glue. The centers of the daisies and the roses were highlighted with Stickles glitter glue.

Mixed media masculine card
My daughter needed a birthday card for a high school friend she keeps in contact with. This mixed media masculine card took less than 10 minutes to make. The ocean picture is a free/royalty free photo from the internet. The background is Navy blue, and the finished card is 5 x 7 inches. And I used gold and blue sparkle ep for the ship, anchor, and sentiment. The Happy Birthday can easily be changed out for Happy Father's Day, Happy Retirement, Get Well, or any number of sentiments that suit your need.
