Christmas Poinsettia

As promised, here's the other gorgeous set of stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Holiday Foliage - This set is also from our very talented artist, Rosiland Solomon. Beautiful, large stamps, with lots of room to color as desired. You'll have to pardon me, I think Poinsettia's are very pretty and went a little wild. My daughter tells me my style leans toward simple but elegant. I just like what I like. You can decide for yourself. On that note, here's a few ideas to get your mojo going.

What's more classic than Christmas hymns!

Ohh Lala! Don't these green feathers add that little bit of unexpected punch! So easy to make. Just keep your glue gun handy.

My apologies for the color on the Poinsettia. The camera just doesn't pick up color the same way the human eye does. I wish you could see this in real life, very pretty.  Anyway, the base of the card front (5 x 7 inches) is gold cs, embossed with a diamond design. Next cut very dark blue cs to 5 x 5 inches, center and adhere to gold cs. Cut olive green cs to 3 x 3 inch square and punch each corner with a decorative corner punch. Cut 4 strips of coordinating colored scraps to 3/8 inch by about 3-1/2 inches long. Thread through the punched corners. Clip the ends that are hanging out as shown. Adhere on top of blue cs as shown. The Poinsettia is actually Mirror Red Cardstock, (maybe that's why the color is off when it's photographed), embossed with Blueberry ep. Fussy cut around the Poinsettia, and adhere with foam tape to give it some depth. Using a glue pen, add Florida Beach glitter to the center of the flower.

  2. They're all just fabulous, but I think my favorite is the first with the music and poinsettia - so classy. BUT - love the feathers :) The blue really does look nice with the poinsettia and the candles are awesome...
