Did you know . . .
Legend tells the Pansy was originally white, and blushed bright purple where it was pierced by Cupid's arrow. This accounts for the flower's reputation of bringing thoughts of loved ones.
Okay, I'm hooked on yesteryear. It must be a phase - maybe I'll grow out of it - or not. Instead of coloring the circle of Pansies with Copics, I chose to emboss some vintage looking cs with Antiquities EP266. This embossing powder really does give the feeling of aged gold. Love it!
Karalee, both these cards are gorgeous. Love the second one. So so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love that embossing folder and how you incorporated it into your first card! The antiqued pansies are very pretty on the vintage card.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are gorgeous! Love the different embossed techniques on each of them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Karalee! Great job on both!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards - love how totally different each one is but still using the same image :)
