Silhouettes
This set, being a silhouette, has given me a new perspective to card creating. Instead of making the stamped image the central focus, the silhouette has incorporated the backgrounds as a major part of the overall picture. I've come up with two cards using Sparkle N Sprinkle's Silhouette stamp set 493.
The background for this card was created with alcohol inks. The colors remind me of a late summer day, just as the sun is setting on the lake, and it's starting to cool off for the evening.

ReplyDeleteDon't know which I like better - I thought I liked the purple the most, but the oranges and reds are so pretty too! Doing backgrounds for this set looks so fun; I can't wait until I get a chance to play with this set!
