I found this teacup template on the internet, courtesy of http://MelisaWaldorf.blogspot.com. Instead of using it as she had originally intended, I cleaned it up using my Corel Paint Shop Pro, and used only 1/2 of the template, leaving an open space at the top of the teacup for the stamp.
I stamped Sparkle N Sprinkle's Magnolia 1683-328G (stamp set 328 Floral Magnolia) and colored with Copics. Although most of the doily (Cheery Lynn Designs) has been covered, it still makes for a pretty vintage style card.
Fantastic idea, and a beautiful card! Thanks for sharing the tip, Karalee!
ReplyDeleteWhat a soft and delicate card Karalee! And I love how you fit the stamped image into the top of the cup - it looks perfect in there! Very pretty!
