Ice Skaters

Die cut ice skaters. To make them free-standing, I cut a slit in the "ice", glued two small strips of cardstock to the back of the skate, slipped both strips through the slit and split the strips (like a brad) underneath and glued. Because I used cardstock to stand them up, they have not bent or fallen over. It also helps to make sure they are centered on the "ice".
